Notifications

Edited

The notification bell in the top bar shows messages meant for you. A red count on the bell shows how many are still open. Click the bell to open the Notifications panel.

Everyone sees their own notifications here. ConstructEase staff administrators also see data-quality flags raised when project data is imported.

Your notifications

When you ask ConstructEase to do something in the background, a notification keeps you posted here:

  • Export Submitted means a large export you requested was received and is being prepared. It clears on its own once the export is ready or fails, so the bell shows one row per export.

  • Export Ready means a file you exported is ready. Press Download to save it.

  • Export Failed means the export could not be finished.

  • Completion changed tells you when a stage that was already sent to billing has its completed date moved to a different day, or is no longer marked complete. The card shows the project, the stage, the old and new completed dates, and who made the change. You see these when you have billing access and the project is in one of your divisions. The person who made the change is not notified about their own edit.

Data-quality flags

ConstructEase staff administrators also see flags from imports that need review. When you have this access, two tabs appear at the top of the panel: Internal for the data-quality flags, and My Notifications for your own notifications.

Each data-quality card shows:

  • A colored type label: Webhook error when an incoming request failed, Dropped task when a task could not be imported, or Close-out review for a close-out that needs a look.

  • The builder the flag came from.

  • The task name, the community, project, and lot it relates to, and a plain-language explanation of what went wrong.

  • Seen ... times when the same problem has come in more than once, and the date it was last seen.

  • A Demo data label on sample flags used for testing.

Fixable flags include a short How to fix hint with the exact steps to take.

Filtering the list

A Status menu at the top narrows the list to Open (the default), Resolved, Dismissed, or All.

On the Internal tab, a second Type menu narrows the data-quality flags to All types, Webhook error, Dropped task, or Close-out review.

When there is nothing to review, the panel shows You're all caught up. Longer lists are split into pages with Previous and Next buttons.

Acting on a flag

Open flags offer the actions that fit the problem:

  • Reprocess runs the failed webhook request through import again.

  • Rescrape pulls the project's SupplyPro schedule fresh.

  • Accept accepts the webhook request as-is.

  • Fix builder opens the builder in Settings so you can add its SupplyPro Builder ID. Come back and press Reprocess once it is set.

  • Fix mapping opens Event Mappings with the task name ready, so you can map it to a phase. Come back and press Reprocess or Rescrape once it is mapped.

  • Ignore marks a dropped task's name as one that should never import. It is recorded in Event Mappings and stops raising this flag.

  • Approve close confirms a Close-out review flag. It sets the project's close date to the builder's scheduled close (or the projected end if there is no scheduled close) and resolves the flag. If the project has no date to close on, the action is blocked.

  • Resolve marks the flag as handled.

  • Dismiss clears the flag without action.

Each card links to the related project, and Open Integrations at the bottom jumps to the SupplyPro webhook request log filtered to errors.
